I never liked head shot sessions. As I never really got my self prepared and it was always a rush. So consequently my previous head shots never captured what I wanted let alone a range of looks. So what a relief when I saw what Danann had shot. I found his experience as an actor and director helped me get some unique shots that I think "get me". I followed his advise on his website about being prepared and what to bring to the session really useful. I came with characters in mind and played the role during the shoot and the results consequently show different casting opportunities for me. I especially was happy with the lighting - no shiny foreheads or unflattering skin tones for me now! He was also very patient with my nerves, my hair and the heat (over 30 degrees that day !). After the shoot I received all the pictures so I invested time and confident with my final decisions. It took a while but totally worth it as I am at totally certain with my choices. My agent was very happy with them and excited to get my new looks out there. I was also impressed with Danann's knowledge and suggested editing for social media. So a big thumbs up from someone who does not shudder at her headshots anymore and excited to share them.
